Here's a great example of how I presketch - or to use a fancier word, "conceptualize" - a comic. This one was (atypically) done in pen. Notice at this stage I hadn't figured out how to properly draw Chira's hair yet. If you look at the edges of the "page," you can see they're a little frayed. Yeah. That's what happens when you live on my clipboard in my saddlebag for a couple months. Be glad you don't.
